The Leander Old Town Popup Market is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month during the warmer months from 9:00p am to 1:00 pm. The event is coordinated by the Leander Chamber of Commerce . The location is on W. South Street at N. Brushy Street between the City of Leander offices and the Leander ISD offices. It’s a small town shopping experience of local artisans, vintage vendors, a farmers market, dining, the Leander Car Show, and other small businesses in our regional area and features live entertainment. Actually the car show portion is not well-attended because it conflicts with another car show in Round Rock. The informal First Sunday car show is more popular with car owners and that one runs from 10:00 am to noon on the first Sunday of each month.
The Popup Market has live entertainment with either a solo artist or a band. Tomzap played at the September 17, 2016 event. As of November 2016, a large stage is being constructed for the live entertainment and other events.
The Chamber of Commerce also organizes the Leander Old Town Christmas Festival.

 The Old Town Popup Market is located between the Leander City Hall and the Leander ISD offices. The La Tapatia restaurant is no longer at the location shown on the map. They are adjacent to the HEB Plus store (west side) which is a few blocks to the north on Hwy 183. The restaurant is highly recommended. |
