OMG, sounds delicious!! How could we have passed that by, and not stopped!!!by solasol - Puerto Angel
Hi John. I think I saw you down there, with your smoker going on the weekends. Sorry, we were so busy working on projects around the house that we didn't have time to meet you as we zoomed by. We had good luck at the Scotia Bank ATM. Had to go more times than we would have liked, but no problems with the ATM...plus only 29 pesos to take out cash.by solasol - Puerto Angel

Sounds grueling! I used to do it with my 4 kids on board to and from California. 8-11 days before the freeways were built, driving only in daylight. Memories, memories...by solasol - Puerto Angel

I love Roga...all time favorite hardware store...in the WORLD!! But, we've discovered Materiales Toledo in Zipolite. Our guy, Antonio, buys almost exclusively from them. Really nice family!by solasol - Zipolite - Mazunte - Agustinillo - Ventanilla
We're thinking of coming down, if family obligations allow for an escape! Dying to see it!by solasol - Puerto Angel
Thanks for the info. I used to hate Pochutla and avoided it like the plague (I'm talking 20 or so years ago), but over the years it's grown on me. Once I saw it refered to in an old Huatulco Club Med pamphlet as a "charming tropical village". I certainly wouldn't go as far as to agree with that!by solasol - Zipolite - Mazunte - Agustinillo - Ventanilla
Did it all get finished before Semana Santa? Or is there more to go? How's it look?by solasol - Puerto Angel

Well, too bad. I was really hoping for something classy like Zipolite. But, it's 1,000,000,000 times better than it was!!! So no more complaining from me!! And hopefully no sewer water going down it in the rainy season! Yay!!!!! It's how they made it out to Estacahuite.by solasol - Puerto Angel
"When things settle down", as I always used to say to my kids. I'll let you know.by solasol - Puerto Angel

Thanks so much for the photos! It's looking better than I imagined! (I love the one with the dog peeing on the palm!) What's that structure going to be for in front of the agencia?by solasol - Puerto Angel
I probably shouldn't have written anything at all, since, as I mentioned, I wasn't there long enough to experience it, and I'm not sure what our guests used it for. I'm not very high tech, I used it to send emails and go in Facebook.by solasol - Puerto Angel
I didn't read the "Taxi Trip" story, and don't want to. Thank you for setting the record straight! I don't know any "sinister" taxi drivers!!by solasol - Puerto Angel

Lichin is actually a woman (a spitfire!), and "Tico" is her husband from Costa rica. (Who really doesn't have much to do with it!) Her brother has a huge show, Polymarchs, that tours all over Mexico. Every once in a while, they come to Puerto, and blow every ones eardrums out with their heavy duty sound system! I hope I'm not bugging you with all my info, just seems likeby solasol - Puerto Angel
