Go here Judd it is the local board for La Manz and Boca and it gets a lot more traffic for those places than this board does. Someone on there will be able to answer your question.by Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
My new neighbours Jorge and Angie have opened a great new sidewalk eatery in Barra. It is on Avenida Veracruz at Puerto de La Navidad, in the shade of the wall of the Mercury out board dealer, next to the Centro de Salud. Their chicken tacos are massive, magnifica and delicious and their chilaquiles are great too. They have red and green sauces with a depth of flavours I have not found around herby Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas

How I may feel about any GOVERNMENT'S foreign policy has nothing at all to do with how I feel about the citizens of said country and I sincerely hope to see ALL of my many good American friends come back down and enjoy Mexico this winter whether their GOVERNMENT thinks they should or not.by Nan - Off-Topic Forum
I am anti fear mongering in general and the US is the only country that has ME on their mailing list...so far anyway. When I hear from Canada, the UK, and Japan I'll let you know.by Nan - Off-Topic Forum
Fear mongering gets my vote, next they'll be telling us all the world is flat and if we travel we'll fall off and you know...some of the people will even believe them OMG check this out they're back and taking new memberships since 30th October 2009. Who'd a thunk it?by Nan - Off-Topic Forum

You do realize that this post makes very little sense in English? QuoteThis line is the most unintelligible City officials made clear they will not cease to continue to request the opening of the beach Tenacatita , which remains closed, and that is a fact different evict said . As near as I can figure from it all is that the beach is still closed to the public...by Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas

That is the one and the family that run Restaurant Raul in La Manzanilla did close it a couple of years ago but I am not sure if someone else took it over or not. I am hoping someone will open it this season because if they do it will be a nice place to take my customers on the excursions after snorkeling over the reef at playa mora...there is good snorkeling just out from la vena too.by Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
I heard the Chippy version of the Los Angeles locos name years ago as well. It is a beautiful piece of property. I wonder if the public restaurant on that beach - out by the river - that was previously operated by the folks from restaurant Raul in La Manzanilla will re-open now that the other restaurants at Tenacatita beach are closed?by Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
The "plan" from that blog above isn't what the resort developers have in store for Tenacatita. That is apparently the "plan" that was in place before the resort developer got involved. See what I mean when I say what difference does it make? I had no idea that Tenacatita had such an over development "plan" in store for it even before this all happened wiby Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
Yikes!!! After looking at the map for titled properties as presented on that blog above I am wondering in the long run what is the difference? How to choose between a subdivision of teeny tiny little lots chock full of vacation homes covering every square meter and cluttering everything up or the planned resort. What a shame that it all could not have just been left as it was by both the realby Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
I asked and was told that it is the ejido and the owners and that the owners may also be fighting with the insurance company. The ejido own the land and want it back or operating, the owners own the building and they may still be trying to get something from the insurance company so that they can rebuild.by Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
See Katie, myself and my personal pals are all quite friendly...we don't fit into the OFOTCA category...hee hee hee...not just yet anyway.by Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
Yep Katie, a certain element on here are for the most part pretty predictable - stodgy too. That is why Zummie can have so much fun yanking their chains - so don't even worry about it. Just so you know a lot of them don't like it if you recommend a hotel that is over 30 bucks a night or a restaurant with a decent wine list or other than Mexican food either. ;-) hee heeby Nan - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
Here is some news. I won't torment anyone by running it through a computer translation program and don't have time to do a full translation but some people have been taken to jail, three people were wounded when over 200 rounds were discharged the night before last and apparently some of the detainees are reporting that they were beaten so there has apparently been some violence.
