We have lived in Melaque for the last 12 years and have sold our house here and are looking for a new place to spend the winter. After being on the coast I would prefer something inland where there are opportunities for hiking. We do need access to good stores to buy food for cooking and accommodation with internet as we do still manage our business back in Canada.
I am also presuming that my old dog will still be alive so we will need to be in a pet friendly situation. We don't want to be in a place where we need a car.
I have never been to the state of Oaxaca, but have heard great things about it. I know up in the mountains it is cooler but that is okay. Any thoughts or ideas on some places we should research would be great. Thanks in advance..........Bob
