In my opinion, it has often been embarrassing and disgusting "to have to read" much of what you have written, off and on topic. That said, I will always defend your right to do so here and elsewhere. Just what part of our Constitution do you not understand or is it all just a number two to you?

I don't agree with posting those signs (and I'm an atheist), but alan is correct, that is their right to do so, and free speech is not "disgusting." Why can't you just disagree with something without taking offense?

I should also add that I wonder how offended you would be if those billboards attacked the Muslim faith rather than the Christian faith.

This is an amazing discovery thats actually not too surprising. Its a shame good Christian citizens that are still the great majority in America allow their children to sit in classrooms where God and the Bible are ostracized. At least those mohammidians and devil worshippers havent made any real inroads into Mexico yet!

If your religion is so good and true and strong, it seems to me it shouldn't be threatened by a simple billboard. However, as I wrote above, although I am former Catholic who is now an atheist, I don't agree with those billboards or other forms of communication that attack religion. Here in my area of North Carolina, some non-believers used signs on buses showing local non-beleivers saying "I'm Good Without God" and other such positive messages. I think that is both more effective and respectful and they generated little controversy. Personally, I believe in showing respect for people's religious beliefs, even though I don't believe myself. But don't you think it is somewhat hypocritical for Christians to make hateful threats against a simple billboard? Oh wait, I forgot for a second that I am addressing L.T., a man who makes such threats all the time here. And a man who constantly makes hateful remarks against other religions. Did you ever think, Loony Tunes, that it is "Christians" like you who inspire the messages on those billboards?

Yes Christianity is good, true and strong! And it was evidently the citizens of NC that complained about the insulting nature of that atheist atrocity that got it taken down. I would love to take credit for it but I cant. Ill let the credit lay where it belongs. However I do refuse to be silenced by someone who evidently has some obscure personal reason for dropping out of the Catholic church. I may add that Christianity is by far the number 1 religion on a worldwide level and continues to hold approx 80% following in the US and Canada. Mexico stands tall as about 95% of Mexicans claim Christian beliefs and practices. So plaster your car and buses with whatever silly mess you want to but remember NC does have a large following of Christians that evidently dont tolerate insults. I stand with them! LOL!

Its amazing how some posters will go to any lengths to continue controversy. Ok Christianity is the worlds leading religion. But according to some unknown bishop Mexicos 95% Christian population only 15% attend on a regular basis. I suppose this bishop is including other Christian religions and not only Catholic? Or how does this bishop distinguish regularly? Another good question would be what percentage of muslims hit the ground 5 times a day to pray? Does that change the fact that they are muslims?
Lamar, listening to an atheist talk about a bishop friends percentage of Mexicans in church on a regular basis is as far as this is going. Betcha a beer the rascal wont even help you with the Powerball either. But the least they could do is figure up your percentage of winning chances eh? And please consider that while Christianity may be the largest religion in the world, 80% of the world's population is not Christian. In the US, 70% are Christian, but 20% do not identify as members of any religion at all, although many have a belief in a higher power of some sort, and that group is growing rapidly. By the way, I don't think that is either good or bad, but it is a fact.

I didn't see one thing above said by either of you regarding WHY you are Christians, about what evidence you have that your beliefs are true. Do you have any? Do you thjnk about your beliefs or do you just believe them because that is what you were told to believe? Or do you just like to taunt non-believers because you think its fun? Not that I care what either of you geniuses think, but it would be interesting to see what rationale you have for your beliefs, if any,

Its hard to if not impossible to find a better example of moral decay in America than the Hollywood Director Nick Cassavetes. His latest movie and his thoughts approving of incest pass all boundaries of common decency. With "gay" marriage I thought Id heard it all, now this. Sickening!
