Nancy Knickerbocker-Penick
Born July 6, 1952 to Bill & Lee Knickerbocker in Midland, Texas. Nancy moved to Georgetown in 1971 and spent the rest of her life in Georgetown, Leander, and Oatmeal, Texas. Nancy married Tom Penick February 14, 1985.
Nancy is survived by husband Tom, sister Polly Bowley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a devoted wife, sister, and passionate artist in multiple mediums, but most notably her fused glass art. She was an avid reader, a Master Gardener, pursuing Master Naturalist, a recorder for CoCoRaHS, and a lover of cats, rocks, fossils, and all things dragon.
She will be remembered for her work with the Leander Public Arts Commission, the Bertram Button Club, tomzap.com Visitors Comments moderator, and greatest fan of Tomzap the Band.
