    The 7th annual Tomzap Party Tomzap Party was held at Bigote's Restaurant and Bar in Melaque on Wednesday, February 13th, 2008, beginning 2:00 pm at Don Bigote's. Tomzap Party 2007
    The 6th annual Tomzap Party was held at Bigote's Restaurant and Bar in Melaque on Thursday, February 15, 2007 beginning at 2:00 pm (Happy Hour). Around 80 people attended. This year, Irv and Shirley Hoffman organized a Ladder Golf (AKA Horse Balls or String Toss) Tournament. There were about 12 (2-person) teams that entered the tournament. Jim & Vanessa Hawkins of Gibsons B.C. won the championship and the prize! Unfortunately, Marta's Tequils Gun would not work, so she had to go around and provide Tequila shooters and shake everybody's head. It was all in good fun and enjoyed by all. More Tomzap 2007 photos. Tomzap Party 2004
    The 2004 Tomzap Party was held at Bigotes Restaurant and Video Bar in Melaque, Jalisco, on February 13th at 2:00 pm. It was an overwhelming success with over 60 in attendance. Furthermore, the management and staff of Bigotes made it happen! They arranged with SOL (Cerveza, Co.) to erect 3 large tents on the beach, and supplied tables and chairs for the party as you will see in the photos. More Tomzap 2004 photos. (476K)

Tomzap Party 2003
    Tom, well we had 32 people at the (February 2003) party this year at Casa Chips in Barra. After the party we all got talking and found out that most of the people there were living in Melaque. So we decided that next year we will hold it in Melaque and maybe we can get a lot more people. I went down and talked with Fernando Perez the owner of Bigotes and asked him if he would like to have it at his place next year. Well you know his answer. They have a great happy hour there from 2 o'clock until 9 o'clock so it should be another great party. Also I think that there are a lot of people who are on this site who just don't want to go over to Barra for the party, but would come to it if we had it in Melaque . We'll see. It will be in February the 13 again (2004), which this year falls on a Friday (but who cares) all days down there are Fridays. Is there any chance that you will be in the area next year about this time? Well take care and keep up this great site.

Tomzap Party 2002
    The February 2002 party got organized on the tomzap.com Barra/Melaque Visitors' Comments site around December 2001 and January 2002. It actually took place on Feb 13th, 2002 at Casa Chips in Barra de Navidad at 2:00pm.

    In attendance were: Andy & Connie from Arkansas, Jim & Marg Dobinson from BC, Nicky Hockley from BC, Mary Jo from Gravenhurst, Ont., Pat & Hilda Pothier from Ont. and Jerry & Dee from Ont.

    We're hoping to attract more people next year. [The 2003 party is set for February 13th at 2:00 pm at Casa Chips.]
