The Albatros great view, ribs. Scooby's good portions, consistent quality, great sides, margaritas. (1/14) Bigotes or Concha del Mar popular, great live shows, cheap beer, Señor Froy's because it's moved to the beach now, friendly staff, cold beer. (1/14)

Esmeraldas Corner of Gomez Farias and Alvaro Obregon (former Ava's location). All food is excellent with a large menu to choose from, friendly staff. Chili Rellenos with 2 peppers. You can't go wrong here for anything. (1/14)

Estela's (315) 355-5471. Calle Gordiano Guzman #39. Best without a doubt. Choice of meats or chile rellenos, served with a fresh fruit refresco (drink), a multi-colored salad, lightly steamed multi-colored (broccoli, carrots, etc.) and either rice or pasta. (1/14)++

Restaurant Ayala Calle Carrillo Puerto #66 corner of Ramon Corona.

Kaliman on the highway (has the whole BBQ chicken on a spit) and the Morelos street location (has the flattened BBQ chicken) or La Chaira at #63 Ramon Corona. Also mentioned is Pollo Feliz on Hwy 200.

Roosters seems to be the clear choice. Unique flatbread crust with fresh ingredients made by Cedric. Steaks and wings also good. (1/14) Pechecan pizza is also quite good. (3/18) Also mentioned is Sambuca on Guzman just north of Benito Juarez. Located on the second floor. (1/14)

Helados Portobello across from the main trailer park. The owner went to the Bings corporate ice cream college and decided their lower fat cheap runs were not for his customers. I remember Bings in the 80's.... this is better. (1/14)

Albatros' Bar Right on the beach, next to Ray's Tours and around the corner from Rulas. Fabulous setting, great view and tasty drinks from Ezekiel and Jorge. Each beer comes with a bonus 'cervezito' ...Bring your camera for some nifty sunset shots.
