San Miguel del Puerto is located about 10 miles north of Huatulco (as the crow flies) near the Río Copalita. Coffee is grown in the region. A fiesta takes place on September 29 honoring the patron saint San Miguel Archangel. See Sheila Clarke's account of her visit.
