The Hotel Solamar Inn used to be called Hotel el Portico del Mar and Hotel Royale Costa Sur before that. As the Hotel Royale Costa Sur, the hotel fell into disrepair and eventually closed down. It reopened in 2002 and the more recent owners have fixed it up. Air-conditioned, restaurant, pool, swim-up bar, on the beach.
