As a Canadian who had the luck to travel to Zipolite in December 1974 until just after new years when my travelling buddy got really sick (malaria) and he went home from Acapulco I travelled the long road route up the coast. I have since been to Zipolite in 1989 when the airport opened, 2005 , 2009 and every year since from about 2012. Thanks tom and your wife Nancy for having this great site. the beach coast pictures are fantastic. I still use them all the time. I am disappointed I didn't try harder to meet you both. My wife is going down n 2 days and me in about 12.
