We want to bus to the Sunday mercado in Tlacolula from Oaxaca, but are unable to figure out the bus route. We are staying in the Barrio del Jalatlaco and have heard the bus route is nearby. We would prefer to not walk to the 2nd class bus station if possible, but we will, if we cannot figure out the route. Thanks!

I'm just home from Oaxaca - my wife and I took the local bus to the Tlacolula mkt - wonderful ride.
It leaves from just past the baseball stadium, in front of a Volkswagen dealership.

Best way to get to bus is to take a cab and tell the driver you want the bus to Tlacolula mkt.
