...for the month of September, and maybe October.

I will be alone or with my girlfriend, so I don't need much room, but I'd like something nice, secure and within walking distance of the Zocalo. I also speak Spanish and my girlfriend only speaks Spanish, so there is no problem getting around.

I hope that the weather is dry in Oaxaca in September, because I'd like to escape the high humidity of my home in Barra de Navidad (Jalisco) for a month during the summer. Any comments about the weather then would be appreciated.

I'm also looking in Guanajuato where I know the weather is dry, but Oaxaca is my favorite colonial city in Mexico, and I would prefer to stay there.
