Day of the Dead Photography Workshop
August 03, 2017 07:31AM
If you're interested in photography, a colleague of mine is hosting a Travel and Documentary Photography Workshop in Oaxaca City from Oct. 31-Nov. 4th. Lindsay Lauckner Gundlock is one of the most in-demand photographers working in Mexico right now -- her work has appeared in Travel + Leisure, Lonely Planet's just-published Mexico: From the Source cookbook as well as Bon Appetit, Enroute. She's hosting the workshop with her husband Brett Gundlock who is a documentary photographer for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and others. You can see information about the workshop on my website at [www.atastefortravel.ca]

I guess there's no history of photography in Oaxaca... what arrogance.

From yoga to cooking classes to painting, professionals have hosted workshops on all types of subjects around the world for decades. How is it a negative to introduce aspiring photographers to Oaxaca City? Small group tourism is generally considered a positive to local businesses.
