See a version of this ad by Coca-Cola Mexico, that has now been removed by the corporate wonder but is available on You-Tube. Advertisment shows a happy group of young white people arriving like the conquistadors to a Mixe village in Oaxaca called Totontepec, and introducing them to the wonders of Coca-Cola. Ad was taken down by Coco-Cola Mexico after indigineous groups objected heartily. It is outrageous. It is still available on youtube. Gopal
Perhaps I just don't get it, which could be a possibility, but can you enlighten us of those who might not know, what was outreageous concerning it?
What was outrageous was that the Mixe indigenous folks were supposed to feel thrilled that Coca-Cola had finally made it to Totontepec.

Do you think that corporate America can teach these folks a way to do it better? Is Coca-Cola their saviour?
