Rentals in Mexico are not like they are in the States where you just drop off in another town. If you are going to keep it for your stay it may be OK but very costly to pay to return it to GDL

There are 100's of Crocodiles in that lagoon. Don't think a little wind or rain will wipe them out

Unless the real police stay there ..... the rent-a-cops could move back in like last time. Still don't know if the rent-a-cops were kicked out or just disarmed That program “Vamos Juntos” does look like an effort to bring life back to the badly damaged southern coast of Jalisco

Change everything you gave them for financials ..... and walk away. I assume your contract is not with an American company They will eventually take it over and sell it again And don't buy another !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tenacatita on Facebook has posted a lot of fotos and it's pretty much a mess. I think Bulls-eye was closer to Perula ...... but Melaque and La Manz are messes too

I would ask on a real Vallarta board like The Puerto Vallarta Scene Forum I would say a trip back to Old Town or Walmart. Very little south of town except hotels and condos Forget Travelers Checks or personal checks
