Well the 'nasty woman" just got cleared yet again by the FBI on this Weiner email thing...and the Canadian Loonie promptly tanked against the peso in after market weekend desk trading... just wait till tomorrow and Wednesday. Me thinks it's gonna be a volatile week in currency trading.by MortimerSnerd - Off-Topic Forum
While not specific to the CostaAllegre such incidents do have a negative spin-off effect when it comes to tourism... hopefully the perps are caught..by MortimerSnerd - Off-Topic Forum
It isn't just Mexico that has a big 'drug' problem. This is the Filipino solution...and it's rough. Bet Mexico and a few other countries are watching to see how this 'final' solution to the drug problem pans out.by MortimerSnerd - Off-Topic Forum
Oink... worked outside in -52, Camrose Alberta... that was cold enough for me... at -60... you take a pee and it freezes before it hits the ground... no yellow snow....fun to toss a cup of hot water into the air... instantly freezes into ice crystals. Oink... I have the coldest temp according to Wikipedia as: the coldest temperature ever recorded in Canada was -63 °C (-81.4 F) in Snag, Yukon,by MortimerSnerd - Off-Topic Forum
54C degrees is around 129.2F on the olde English scale.. ...toasty. These temperatures have only been matched by some record Death Valley temperatures. The official highest recorded temperature is now 56.7 C (134 F), which was measured on 10 July 1913 at Greenland Ranch, Death Valley, California, USA.by MortimerSnerd - Off-Topic Forum

Well Steve, I showed the picture to my Susy and lo but she says that is none other than Mr. Sapo... we get these guys hopping into the front door quite regularly. ...something you might not be aware of... over 80% of the people who are bitten do not come down with dengue symptoms, or if they do the symptoms are very mild and are hardly noticed...but the asymptomatic carry a full virus load during the infectious stage....so they are outside enjoying a beer while being exposed to more Aedes aegypti bugs which specifically target humans for their next meal ..by MortimerSnerd - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
This sums it up nicely ...there is little point in buying travel insurance if the company is going to fine tooth comb a claimants medical and and prescription history in a desperate attempt to find any reason to reject a large claim....you think your covered but your probably not, and you shouldn't have to be a Philadelphia lawyer trying to interpret every exclusion and exception in tby MortimerSnerd - Off-Topic Forum

Boo... Leys is the closest supermarket to Conchas Chinas (was staying at the WVI complex for a couple of weeks before heading south to Melaque)...Leys is a tad chaotic, the store is a bit too small for all the stuff they stock, but prices are as good as anywhere.
