Zipolite May 2015 Storm

Hi

Heading down to Zipolite for a couple of weeks in December. I just heard about the big storm in May where waves and water came right into the town. I know this area is pretty resilient but is all good? Any places get wiped out at all? Any change to the beach, depth of water or anything?

Zipolite is alive and well. The beach looks fine although since I don't swim there can't answer your question about water depth.

The area from Sal y Pimiento to Cafe Maya suffered some wave problems more recently than the May storms; Ray's trying to put together some financing to fix Cafe Maya and could use ome crowdsourcing help. Roca Blanca is in great shape, though we are still in hurricane season; have had a dry and inactive season so far; but December is far enough away that I wouldn't fret, were I you.
