The Confidence of the Dumb:
There's also that immutable problem known as "human nature." It has a name now: it's called the Dunning-Kruger effect, which says, in sum, that the dumber you are, the more confident you are that you're not actually dumb. And when you get invested in being aggressively dumb, well, the last thing you want to encounter are experts who disagree with you, and so you dismiss them in order to maintain your unreasonably high opinion of yourself. (There's a lot of that loose on social media, especially.)

And I do believe the smarter you get, you realize how little you really know.

So dumb people think their smart and smart people think their dumb.

why do they moved this article from where it was? that was the perfect spot for ALL the expertis in puerto they can read it and hopefully understand it.

They are = "they're". "Their" is a third person possesive pronoun. "There" is a place.

So your explaining why the locals will answer any question (incorrectly) even if they dont know the answer?
