We will have family visiting over the Christmas / New Year season and are planning a day trip to Colima - hoping to to be able to see the volcano. Having been there a number of times, we know that the volcano is not always visible. Does anyone know if there is information source in Colima where one can check this daily. Thanks

Thanks for the info - tried to access the University web cam and it tried to install a viewer on my computer but it wouldn't install. Error message said that it couldn't be registered to my computer. Have you used this web cam?

Thank you Comala Host - beautiful picture. We've been to Colima and Comala a number of times and really enjoy ourselves when there. Unfortunately, the volcano is not always visible.
We are planning a day trip when our family is with us and one of the highlights would be seeing the volcano so guess we'll just take our chances.
