Great new Comala restaurant

Cuaxiote is an ultra fine dining restaurant that has been open a few months now in Comala. Everything about it is first class, including the staff, professionalism, ambience, and food. A number of on-line comments describe it better than I can.
Reservations are recommended – 312-118-8931. It is located on calle Degollado #81. From the square in Comala, go down Degollado past the church and the school on the right, then Hostal Casa Blanca on the left. Cross the bridge and it’s a short distance to up to Cuaxiote on the corner on the left. A doorman is at the entrance.
This place is worth the drive!

Cuaxiote a little too expensive to visit too often. But another new one is up by the donut shop. First left before and 3 doors or so in is Barbacoa de Reyes. They feature lamb cooked in the ground 7 hours. Ostensibly a birria place. I took a picture of the menu but I’m too dumb to post it.
