Help from Puerto Vallerta folk please

Hi! I am very familiar with the Barra de Navidad forum but have never used this one. My girlfriend wants a good recommendation on an all inclusive in Puerto Vallerta area. We were supposed to meet in Barra but plans have changed and left me home and her now travelling. Your help would be appreciated.

Nobody from Vallarta participates on this forum.

As she exits customs and immigration at PVR your girlfriend will be presented with many choices.

All airlines have specials that include all inclusive packages where she can be escorted to her destination have time on the beach eat rotten food and waterdown tequila and entertainment.

I am mainly with BW.
I think most all-inclusives are in Nuevo Vallarta, but with one bridge down why would you want o go there?
The real Vallarta is still the old town. Tons of places and great (if pricey) restaurants.

A Google search should show lots of options.

Tell her not to be so afraid of living.

Howard, many people are afraid of Mexico and/or want to just chill on the beach w/o any threat.

It sounds as if Susan was not able to convince her friend that she could have a better vacation with Nan and still be just as safe. If that's the case, any "all-inclusive" in Mexico will suffice.

Although AI's are not my thing, I can respect that people need to feel comfortable, and like they say, different strokes for different folks. That said, I can personally recommend the Golden Crown Paradise as a really good adult only all inclusive that DOES NOT have any BUFFETS. All the food is a la carte and the drinks actually pretty good if you stick with the lobby bar. (martinis in a real martini glass even!).... It's not a huge resort, which is nice. All the rooms have an ocean view, some being oceanfront, however the oceanfront views are limited with the palm trees (you need to be on floor 6 or higher). We were at the GCP with a group of friends (16 of us) and we had a great time. It is closer to old town, (no bridge to cross) and is only a 40 peso cab ride to the malecon.
