is there a bus you can catch from the old town PV to barre de navidad other than the Primera Plus?
i seem to recall running across a station last year

The long distance buses all leave from the central bus station - the other side of the airport.
If you know exactly where to be, and when, then the south bound buses do pick up at one spot in the old town.

The buses stop at the corner of Aguacate and V Carranza. You can buy your tickets from a lady there.
