You are probably over an hour away from the cruise terminal to sayulita. That is if every thing is ok on the highway.. It took me around 40 minutes to get from sayulita to the turn off to La Cruz on sunday. top speed was around 20 kms. There is also a new overpass going in at Mezcales. this can be a problem if you are traveling at the wrong times. there has also been delays on the bridges for asphalt replacement. I would give yourselves extra time to get were you want to be if you do decide to stay there. Sorry don't have any other suggestions other than stay in town.
Thank you so much Kliff. kliff Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You are probably over an hour away from the cruise > terminal to sayulita. Looking for things to do in PV for the one day relatives are in from a cruise this coming Wednesday August 23. . Have read about the Tequila Museum-Recommended? The Malecon of course and the restaurants. Need a cool place to talk and reconnect. If it is a hot in PV as it is where we live in Colima, what do you recommend?
The place I take visiting friends to is a place called Lindo Mar Resort. It is a great place for lunch with a fantastic view of Los Arcos and Vallarta. I have yet to have a complaint. It does not have A/C, but the breeze is always there... bring your snorkel gear if you have it... There is a crocodiles sanctuary by the marina that is worth the visit... The botanical gardens are south of town on the way to melaque. I would do the malecon in the morning before the sun gets to strong. I am sure that It will be just as warm as Colima. If it gets to much, do as everyone else and have some cold ones to hydrate.... Have fun [www.lindomarresort.com] [es-la.facebook.com] [www.vbgardens.org]
