Casita Rosada has a full front porch for morning coffee and afternoon reading, garden hammocks, bedroom with king-size bed and garden views, a galley kitchen, a small sala with a desk, and a spacious bathroom with plants growing in a tropical sunlit shower. Pretty, comfortable, and always cool with ceiling fans plus pleasant morning breezes from the mountains and afternoon breezes from the sea.

Casita Rosada is located on Calle Morelos, in the colonia Las Brisas de Zicatela, and just a five-minute walk to the southern end of Puerto Escondido's large surfing beach, Playa Zicatela. Long days spent at beautiful crescent-shaped playa punta swimming, sun-bathing, and surfing are complemented by boating trips to fish and see dolphins, turtles and whales; early morning or late afternoon horse rides; bird-watching at two nearby lagoons; walks to other tropical beaches and rivers for sunsets; and visits to the markets, shops, and restaurants of puerto escondido. At the end of your day, you will love retiring to your comfortable casita in the shade of the massive parota and beautiful palm trees.

From the airport, a taxi will take you to our door in fifteen minutes for about 50 pesos, and taxis (25-30 pesos) and collectivos (shared taxis for 6 pesos) will take you to other areas of puerto escondido during your stay. The casita comes with weekly cleaning service, and either the owners or our competent manager is always on the premises to help orient you to this small beach town, recommend shops, restaurants, and activities, and generally help you enjoy your stay in Puerto Escondido.

Rates

High season (November - April):   US $350 a week, $1,000 a month
Low season (May - October):   US $250 a week, $700 a month
Christmas and Easter weeks:   US $500 a week

We request a 50% down payment to hold your reservation, with the balance due one month prior to arrival.
For cancellations 60 days prior to your stay, your full down payment will be refunded to you.
For cancellations 30-60 days prior to your stay, half of your down payment will be refunded to you.
