Description
In Villa Xochipilli we have seven complete furnished bungalows for you to vacation OR live part of the year in. Four of them occupy one building called Tropical Birds and Flowers OR Aves y Pájaros, these are pretty much set up in the same way, one spacious bedroom, a bathroom a dining and living area and a fully equipped kitchenettes; two of the bungalows in the building called Birds and Flowers have either queen size bed and a full size bed in the bedroom OR a king size bed and a full size bed. These bungalows are located on the second floor (and easy stairway going up), the other in the same building Birds and Flowers have also a spacious bedroom with two full size beds in it. All of these bungalows have a third single bed in the living area. The two upstairs bungalows open up into balconies overlooking magnificent vistas of lush tropical gardens and the lagoon itself. The bottom bungalows open up into the gardens bringing you one step closer to tropical nature.
The downstairs bungalows may be connected and turned into one large bungalow, whenever it is available, becoming a two bedroom, two bathroom, two sitting areas, double kitchens and dining areas. It is useful for larger groups or families. Although not necessary during the winter months, the upstairs bungalows have A.C. in the bedroom, the downstairs bungalows are cooler and do not require air conditioner. In the "Aves and Flores" building , the bungalows are named after one of the birds in the lagoon. #1 La Chachalaca, #2 La Garza Nocturna, #3 La Anhinga, #4 El ColibrÃ.
The fifth bungalow called El Nido de Amor or Lover's Nest stands in its own building, on a second floor close to the top of the palm trees where often birds nest. It has its own large private terrace running along the entire second floor; it also has its own private palapa. This bungalow has views of the entire villa, swimming pool, lagoon, gardens, some ocean and beach and it even looks on to the cull du sac with its beautiful always running stone water fountain. El Nido de Amor is a one bedroom bungalow with a king size bed, a bathroom and kitchenette, dining area and a bar area. This bungalow opens up into its own terrace, it is larger and more luxurious than the bungalows in the Aves and Flowers building.
The 6th and 7th bungalows are housed in the Tropical Hacienda building; it's the newest of all the buildings, furnished in old hacienda style comfortable and cozy Mexican furniture. The front doors of this building came from a 400 year old church and aside from a coat of oil; they look the same as their historical past. This building is closer to the pool than the other bungalows; it looks over the pool, the lagoon and has a good peek of the beach and ocean.
There are two one bedroom bungalows in this building; the two bungalows look pretty much the same in design only varying each in furniture color. Bedrooms are located on the second floor, they have a queen size bed with very comfortable pillow mattresses, the kitchenettes are lovely with full refrigerators, 4 burner stoves and oven, fully equipped, the kitchen counter and bar are large enough for six people to sit around. The living area opens up into private cement patio near the pool and surrounded by a secluded garden area. All seven bungalows are fully, tastefully and safely furnished with its microwave ovens and save deposit boxes.
The swimming pool is solar energy heated in the winter months providing perfect water temperatures in a tropical climate. It is also landscaped with rare palms, native trees and flowering gardens. All throughout Villa Xochipilli you will finds secluded places, to relax, dream, nap and read in a hanging hammock, or lounge chairs. Garden tables and chairs are available for your morning book and coffee or for your afternoon Margaritas. The nature-like preserve and the home-like atmosphere that Villa Xochipilli offers its guests, makes this a perfect get away vacation place and an ideal birds watchers Pacific Coast paradise.
The owner/manager resides at her home in Villa Xochipilli "Casa Luna", she is totally bilingual bicultural and very familiar and knowledgeable about all aspects of the Costalegre area. She is always glad to be able to provide you with whatever information you would like to have about the area. The owner is knowledgeable about available excursions in the area, good restaurants expensive and otherwise and knows about traveling within Mexico. Villa Xochipilli has many other amenities: Wi-FI (included in its rental fees), local cable TV. with some English channels, secured parking within its grounds (whenever available) and even (by previous to arrival request) and a small charge we can place in your refrigerator any food or drink available in Melaque. For your shopping convenience there are several well stocked grocery and liquor stores within walking distance of Villa Xochipilli as well as some of the most popular and best restaurants in Melaque, Taco stands and bar Restaurants where you can sample either local or international cuisine, your favorite Mexican drink. Buses to downtown Melaque (five minutes away) or to Barra de Navidad (eight minutes away) are one and half blocks away from Villa Xochipilli .There are bicycle establishments as well as four wheel vehicles available for rental in the neighborhood, there are also laundry mats Internet Cafes and Coffee Shops, Hair and Nail Saloons, Gyms. Yoga and Spanish classes group of individual are taught by specialized licensed teachers, all within our neighborhood. Please fell free to ask for other vacation and sports activities of interest to you: tennis, horse back riding, body surfing lessons, snorkeling, etc. etc. etc…

The above rates are couples or a single person rate, if you are going to have an additional person staying in bungalow Aves y Flores there is additional montly, weekly, or daily charge.
