- Saturday June 28: Tom played with the Band Common Thread at a Block Party at 1924 Granite Springs Rd
in Leander, TX, 6 to 8 pm. Common Thread is a rock and roll band from the Journey Bible Fellowship in Leander. Tom Penick played with them to fill in for the regular bass player, John, who was on vacation. Tom played bass on some songs and Randy played bass on others.
