Cheesh nona j, you just gotta take a breather and re-read all that I said, not what you think-but what I said. To recap, you stated that you may electrocute any person attempting to enter your house during the night and asked for advice as to what you are liable for and I pointed out consequences you may not have thought of. I even pointed out that I'm not attempting to tell you what to doby por Sandy L - Off-Topic Forum

Looks like my posting above got truncated, here goes again: John- It would be my pleasure. We'll be driving to Melaque in the beginning of January sometime and then hang around until the end of February. Is my understanding correct that you can be found by going to the 'Ranch' and that the 'Ranch' is that entertainment place about 1/2 way from the highway to Barraby por Sandy L - Off-Topic Forum
Visions of barbequed cats, dogs and kids, littering the ground around the house, enter my mind....... maybe some are still fried to the wires, just hanging there...... Don't know the law in Mexico (NOB it's a definite NONO) but you at least leave yourself wide open to whatever a lawyer can dream up if something happens, not to mention retributions from family members of somebody wby por Sandy L - Off-Topic Forum

Thanks Dry House. If I'd be as good as the Buzzard on the computer I'd send you a medal for bravery. PS: I wonder if Dr Whitecoat could fix whatever ails some of the posters. :)by por Sandy L - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
"According to a 2006 profile in El Informador's "Gente Bien" social supplement, Villalobos trained as a lawyer, and after a spell working in the Infonavit public housing department, ventured into the real estate sector. He mentioned that his business was badly affected by the 1995 economic crisis, so he moved into the security service arena, specializing in tracing stolen vehiby por Sandy L - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
Yup, you are on the right road, Rom, the first bridge crosses the South Thompson, the second one the Adams River. The 'boating disaster' happened when after some fireworks, attended by lots of boats, a speedboat ran right smack into the front of a houseboat and parked itself high and dry in the middle of the houseboat, killing the houseboat driver. Both of the operators were from the coby por Sandy L - Off-Topic Forum
Hey Rom Never a problem with Glenfiddich, just a little pricy. The North Shuswap is different to the Salmon Arm area, you gotta go over the bridge, past Scotch Creek (and NO, that's not where glenfiddich comes from) and onwards and you enter the past. It's like Bowen Island used to be in the 60s or 70s, before it became mostly part of West Vancouver; if you know what I mean. There isby por Sandy L - Off-Topic Forum
OK, I`ll bite I live in the North Shuswap, BC. We were cooking in 32-38C degrees temperatures for about a week and then it turned and we go down to about 9C at night and maybe 20C for a high. It`s sunny, I`m getting ready for some barbq steaks for supper by having some Glenfiddich. Life is good, so is the Glenfiddich. I guess Arizona didn't think that the ruling ,a few years back, that non-US people have NO rights whatsoever was sufficient. The ruling was made in the US because the US charter of rights is based on the US constitution which only covers US people, basically allowing any non-US person to be detained for no reason and his/her only right is to contact their embassy.by por Sandy L - Off-Topic Forum

" I think the US Border people do a good job at Canadian/US Border crossings. Nobody sneaks through, avoiding the Homeland boys and girls. " They also can be quite a pain in the butt for honest people. Dare I tell an old joke? Well, I live dangerously, here goes: 3 fellows, a Mexican, an American and a Canadian, are kicking a can along the beach, a Genie pops out and hollers ' quit kicking my lamp, but since you started I gotta give you three wishes and since you kicked instead of rubbed it's gonna be only one wish each'. "This whole forum is like a never ending plane flight to and from Melaque/Barra" Yup. Question remains who wants to be on a plane all the time. I would have thought that there is enough commercialism available without just about restricting this forum to advertising related stuff.
