Hello the roads are close to the volcano, NOT the road to Guadalajara. It is closed from Carrizalillo towards the Hacienda San Antonio and on to Zapotitlan de Vadillo. The dominant winds are taking the ASH towards the west north west of the Fire Volcano. Saludos,by Comala Host - Colima - Comala

Hello, The "Feria de Todos los Santos" is held in the last week of October and up until the second week of November. The main dates are Nov 1st & 2nd. The Fiestas of the Virgin of Guadalupe is held from December 1st until December 12th. The main date is December 12th nation wide. Hope this info helps. You got to love the media! Now that we have a web cam on the volcano it will be more and more on the news. I recently attended a meeting with a couple of vulcanologyst and they told us that the volcano has had half of the activity it had back in 2004. What a wonderful day, we started later than we normally do, but I think there was a reason for this. We were able to experience another Volcanic exhalation from Volcan de Fuego in Comala, Colima "Time to get camara out again" Visiting an old hacienda coffee plantations, coffee factory, a volcano caldera and of course the main event the volcano.
