I am mainly with BW. I think most all-inclusives are in Nuevo Vallarta, but with one bridge down why would you want o go there? The real Vallarta is still the old town. Tons of places and great (if pricey) restaurants. A Google search should show lots of options. Tell her not to be so afraid of living.by Howard - Puerto Vallarta

Not sure there is a best place. It was covered in El Universal and also the Correo de Manzanillo. I assume that the Colima papers covered it too. Just expect the news to be in Spanish.by Howard - Colima - Comala
OK, new approach. Everyone knows that at the high altitudes taken by modern jets everyone is subjected to gamma radiation from outer space. So, suppose some enterprising wedding dress seller came up with protective underwear for the flight. Mainly for the groom to protect the family jewels as they fly out on their honeymoon. I am sure this thing is not over. The same man just won a $35,000 damage award against the City of San Diego. He is a civil libertarian hoping to make a point. Here is a reference:by Howard - Off-Topic Forum

OK. It is over 200km each way, and takes me four hours each way to drive. I do not hang around. What is reasonable for an over 400km 8 hour trip?by Howard - Puerto Vallarta

The long distance buses all leave from the central bus station - the other side of the airport. If you know exactly where to be, and when, then the south bound buses do pick up at one spot in the old town.by Howard - Puerto Vallarta
An approximate translation from the Correo de Manzanillo, October 25, 2010.. At least 25 people, mostly women but including some reporters and a cameraman, were injured in a confrontation at the gate which was blocking access to the Tenacatita. The gate was pulled down and about 20 people were allowed access to the beach. I posted this story in the original language some days ago - on the Tenacatita site where it belongs. I do not understand why Tenacatita news is posted under Melaque/Barra.by Howard - La Manzanilla - Tenacatita - Boca de Iguanas
Jupiter: Nice shot. The drive up to Yerbabuena below the volcano will almost always (in my experience) have vermillion flycatchers. I have been up there many times and, if you go slowly and keep you eyes open, you will see them. You can pretty much promise bird-watchers that they will be there. Also, they are usually fairly close to the road! On the other hand you are going to have to work qby Howard - Colima - Comala
