Rather than bugging individuals I'll put it here. 4 different pieces of code that try to display a web cam directly.
My problem is I can't see into my own address. Any of them work at all?

There's now 5 seperate code attemps (scroll down). The cam is hardwired to use port 80 but I haven't manually opened it. Was using port 8080 before which was open. Any one of the 5 working?

For some reason the computer version didn't work from Vern's computer .... but one of the other java @#$%& did. They are direct to the camera.
Because the video was 'jumpy' I reduced the resolution and size. Hope one of both of these work better

Webcam XP was running when I checked from Verns computer and I got the same thing. Don't know why
Dosen't matter 'cause with the java code I don't need Webcam XP or the computer running

I saw it stream on Verns computer but was 'jerky' at 640x480. Elke says it's better (smoother) with the smaller format

As usual I can't see it

Sparks web cam view (at least I get it on my pc)

Got to say it looked a lot worse here along the Missouri last evening with the sirens going off because of 65 mph straight line winds w/torrential rain. Not too great for the temp burns built all along the flood area. Saw pictures of Beatriz around Mazatlan this am on NBC.

Yep I see you ... or your silhouette at least. Resolution is not very good but maybe because it's focus is on you and not the background
