Washington state next door has 7 million and had over 2000 new infections and 18 deaths, which makes it far worse per capita. Arizona with the same population as WA state had 500 new cases today. I am thinking the weather may be a big factor with the new variants. That may explain why they don't seem to have taken off in Mexico as much yet.
