The answer is that Canada and Mexico are the only countries Americans can drive to to get away from .....(themselves), which must be of interest to the expats living in Mexico (or Canada)

Happy Canada Day!

"the only countries Americans can drive to to get away from"

that would exclude Guatamala, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvidor, Belize, and Panama...and, I've driven to all of them

or, there's always one more in the eastern part of Canada where the don't speak English

This reminds me of a T-shirt I had when I was younger. It simply stated "My whole day is a total loss, until I give somebody hell". Of course here, it should be "until I get a chance to bitch".
LMAO!!!

It's also the 200 year anniversary of "The War of 1812". The score at the end was, Canada won, and the U.S.A. didn't. We burnt down the White House, but they are getting even with us now, so we break even. Happy July 1st, have a few beer fellow Canucks, and to our American brothers, have a great 4th of July. Only 14 more sleeps and my family and I will be wobbling around wonderful California, enjoying the sunshine, dirt cheap gas along the way, cheap hotels, and cheap beer, eh?.

Sandy L you had better take a refresher course in geography, Americans can drive to Guatamala, Belize, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and if they can get past the canal, all of South America is drivable as well.

Sure they can if they wanna drive through thousands of miles through Mexico first. Matter of fact, they can drive just about anywhere in the world if they drive a boat first.

After geography 101 her feathers are ruffled. Considering the trek many Canadians make to get to the Oaxaca coast. Central America isnt far from Pto.
