I grew up on Vancouver and went with my dad to BC Lions games all the time. This was in the days of Wiily Flemming and Nub Beamer. I was a Lions fan, but always had a soft spot for The Roughriders. I stopped following Canadian football years ago as I worked in the USA . Still, when I found the Riders were in the Grey Cup in Regina, I had to watch. It brought back many memories of my dad and my childhood. Funny how things goo around!
