Luxury Yacht Company Offers Pirate-Hunting Cruises

Passengers on a new cruise along the coast of Somalia are paying to catch more than just salmonella.

A Russian luxury yacht company is now offering pirate-hunting trips that promise the chance to be attacked by real sea bandits. The yachts cruise from Djibouti to Mombasa in Kenya at deliberately low speeds in the hopes of attracting pirates.

Passengers pay $5,000 for the trip, and an extra $17.50 a day for an AK-47 and 100 rounds of ammo. The price includes free origami towels in the rooms. Former Special Forces troops are on board to make sure none of the cruise passengers are injured.

it might wake the pirates up a little, and maybe a couple times of getting wiped out they may stop their terriost attacks

Sounds like fun! Can you bring your own weapons and ammo? Ammo restrictions would be a bummer. Do they provide taxidermy services also? Be a shame to waste a good rug or skull mount. Just think about it where else can you troll for marlin and have a Barrett 50 or a 338 Lapua nearby with the hopes of a covey shoot on pirates while sipping oj with vodka. And if they have some of those sexy Russian babes around it would be even better. Now this is a nice business and should be a good investment!
The bummer would be getting stuck with a commie AK.
