A tip for saving Dollars or Loonies

Many of you will be going to Mexico for extended vacations. You
should check to see if your US or Canadian insurance company will
allow you to “Suspend Coverage” while you are in Mexico. Most
companies will, but all have different ways of handling this service.
Check with your agent.

I called GEICO and sure enough they have a 'Storage' plan that reduces the cost of my insurance by 70% during the time I'm not driving my vehicle.

Wish I had know about this for my last ten trips to Barra!
