No -- you computer can not be hacked if you have the batteries out of your laptop and disconnected from the internet provider.
I consider mine to me safe if I have simply disconnected it from the Internet -- I only connect when I need to go on line. I also use a good fire wall and anti virus (ZoneAlarm Pron Antivirus & Firewall 2016) -- for when I am connected.

If you want to guarantee to never be hacked, just turn off your computer, remove the battery and throw the computer away. Recycle the battery properly and we will all be safe and sound. If it's not a laptop then there's no battery to worry about.
