Just got back from Puerto Vallarta, was there the last two weeks of Oct. 2012, I thought it was pretty hot the whole time we were there, but the ocean temp in Punta Negra where we stayed was just about perfect. The question I have is I think the air temps in Jan/Feb would be not quite so hot, but can anyone let me know what the water temps might be at that time of year? From my experience going to Huatulco in Dec. water temps can be chilly. Trying I guess to get the best of both world, air temps you can at least function with, but decent ocean temps as well.
