Flying Adventure - Photographing the Coast

This morning I photographed the Jalisco coastline from Puerto Vallarta to Manzanillo airport. This photo was taken in the Careyes area.

OK Tom, time to stop teasing.
What are the coordinates of this structure?
Looks rather like a radio telescope under construction, but I would like to know what it really is.

The people that took the picture just called it a meditation dish. Built by the owner of Careyes who was an artist from France. Google maps resolution is bad in that area and I never found it

It is located southeast of the developed part of Careyes.
Here is a wider view that should let you find it on Google.

Your aerial pictures are interesting. Do you have any of Bahia de Navidad, Melaque and Laguna del Tule?

We drove out and saw the bowl last year. The bowl is an art project that is quite amazing. It is inset with glass and when viewed from the house that is roughly inland to the west, it appears that the sun, with an amazing luminescence (not sure I spelled that right) is setting in the bowl. You can drive out to it if you can talk your way past the guard near the polo grounds. Well worth seeing!!

Check out What's New - link at the top of every forum page. I think there about 18 pages of photos posted so far.

Great photos in spite of the moisture in the air.
