SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN!!! La Manzanilla!!!

Several people have had their homes broken into in La Manzanilla.
I am sure this is not the only place but since we know some of the people it is really upsetting!
On the La Manz. message board several residence said in Sept. and Oct. there was alot of break-ins.
It will only get worse with the economy and the holidays getting closer.
They said it was The Bare Foot Bandit! Alot of people saying they know who is involved but will not identify the person(s).
Sometimes a reward might get people talking!

Several years ago they had someone breaking in everywhere in La Manz. but finally they caught the guy and sent him out of town.
It took several reports and arrest but I think he is still gone.

They sit and watch until they see everyone leave so maybe bring down a alarm system or a drive way alarm that goes off when crossed.

Are we going to have to start a neighborhood watch?

La Manzanilla isn't the only place with this problem. Our painter (he lives in Villa Obregon) had his house broken into while he and his family where in Cihuatlan at the hospital there (his Father-in-law had a heart attack), they took the TV, DVD player, some furniture and everything else of value they could find. The washing machine was too heavy to lift over the wall....

He said there have been a lot of break ins since JOVA....

Well there has been yet another break-in in La Manz.
This time they came in through the persons bathroom window at night while they was sleeping.
They said they heard of 4 other people in their neighborhood just lately that has had this happen.
She said that some people are not reporting it because they do not think it will do any good.
I think they should all report the problem until La Huerta gets so tried of seeing them that they do something about this ongoing problem.
People that come to stay in La Manz. love the town and help out the community with all kinds of donations and events so you would think they could get help.
