| This isn't a formal hiking trail at the ranch. But right out in front of the Sauceda compound, the road crosses a creek, which appeared dry at the time but had water flowing further downstream. We had seen trees growing in the creek bed from the air and pools of water, so we started walking. |

There were lots of birds in this area.
