Best Mexican Restaurant:
Bananas in the Hotel Barra de Navidad. (1/14)
Restaurant Lety Callejón de Dominguez #20 in Jaluca. It is located almost in front of Freddy`s. Great hand made tortillas and Huevos Rancheros. (1/14)+ Ramon's Av. Lopez de Legazpi across from the Hotel Barra de Navidad. Only place in town that can poach an egg just right. Everything fresh and great. Mary's
Via Berlin in the Hotel Alondra, Simona & Nino's, Alcatraz Bay On Veracruz on the lagoon near El Manglito. Known for its molcajetes (lava bowl meals). Ambar's.
Restaurant Colimilla leads the pack (take a lancha to Colimilla or drive through Isla de Navidad) followed by, Restaurante Lydias in Colimilla, El Manglito, Fortinos, Popeye's, Mozoka, and Fredi's on the highway in Jaluco.
Best Romantic Dining:
Antonio's at the Grand Bay Hotel. Expensive but worth it. Shorts and beach wear not permitted. If you're not up for that, then Isadora's on the lagoon or Mar y Tierra.
Best Fine Dining:
Ambar del Mare. Salads, pasta, pizza.
Best Rooftop Restaurant or Bar:
7 Mares, located between Roctavio's and Pipers on the ocean side, is lovely. Hotel Alondra dominates the Barra de Navidad "skyline" with sweeping views.

Burritos Pipi Sonora No. 15. Also serves a large glass of cold vino blanco. (2/15)

Miguel Loco's place, just a few doors down from Pipi's, Pipi's, or Via Berlin in the Hotel Alondra has good burgers. Also the badass burger at Crazy Iguana on Hwy 200.

Loncheria Morris next to Paty's restaurant on the corner of Veracruz and Jalisco. Good juices too. El Pitufo's Tacos the best chicken tacos. Tacos Adobadas, around the corner from the ice factory. Also try Carnitas Tacos on the corner across from the Alondra Hotel
Best Fishing and Boating:
Mary Chuy longtime family business noted for having the best boats. (1/14)+
